He repeated his words, "It seems like you're waiting for someone," and cautiously entered my hospital room. Panic surged through my body. What on earth is going on? How did this guy end up here with me? "How have you been? It's good to see you again," he said, his gaze fixed on me.

I stayed rooted to my spot, observing him closely. Something feels off about him. He's even wearing a patient's gown! There's a bandage on his head and bruises on his face. I furrowed my brows, still studying him. What happened to this man? Was he in an accident?

"Don't give me that look, Doc. Do I look pitiful in my current state?" he asked, chuckling softly.

I winced and took a deep breath. "What do you want from me?" I managed to ask. He smirked even wider at my question. He closed the door behind him, and I could even hear the lock click as he approached me!
