Chapter 92: Everyone Is My Enemy
Five bodyguards of the Smith family are now here in the room with Theo and Cassie, including Orly, who is his right-hand man. All the windows were shut, and everyone was on high alert in every corner of the room. Theo was already seated on his bed while Cassie stood by his side, silent and anxious about what might unfold for them, for her.
"Orly," Theo called for the man's attention. "My gun," he said, extending his hand.
Cassie's eyes widened at his request. He wants a gun.
What? Will he actually use it?
"You can't fight right now, Mr. Smith," Cassie immediately interjected when Orly handed over the gun that his young master had asked for. "Your body isn't capable of moving yet. It could be especially dangerous for you."
"Don't worry. It's just for self-defense," he simply replied to her.
Cassie couldn't find her voice, so he turned to her. She nervously bit her lower lip, feeling the tension escalate.
