Chapter 62: She’s A Big Threat

When Cassie moved, Blake followed her, as well as her four bodyguards, whose eyes were carefully studying the entire surroundings. In the corner of her eyes, she did the same. Guards were not visible, but she had a strong feeling that this whole place was surrounded by explosive landmines, laser guns, and sensors that detect even the smallest foreign creatures inside the premises. This is called heavy-duty security.

Maybe if Blake weren't holding her hand while walking into this huge building, she would have noticed that the interior of the mansion was as beautiful as Buckingham Palace in England. But her attention was not there; all her senses, as well as her hormones, were focused on his hand holding her. 

"Are you okay?" Cassie's hand trembled slightly, making him react.

"Of course." But when he smiled at her, she was no longer okay. Her whole body felt like the position of her internal organs was changing, and she felt her heart beating on her forehead.
