Chapter 32: Not a Treat

It was a difficult morning in many ways, but Louise believed me. I took solace from that and enjoyed meeting the real her, as well, I suppose. We talked until Auntie Sheila called us down for lunch, and then she announced that she was going to take us into town, to the supermarket and to get Felicity some new shoes, for school. Not exactly a treat for us, but she was not giving us any choice, so we were soon putting on our coats and getting into her car. I had remembered to go to the loo, several times, and I had told Louise about Olivia’s problems, so there was no further embarrassment there. So, I was quite relaxed, really pleased with myself. I knew that we would all get a chance to talk some more, later on in the sleepover, and I was with my chosen allies, my friends. But in the back of the car, after hours of focusing on my problems, I noticed that Louise was not very happy.
