Chapter 29: Safe from who?

I was stunned.

'For the father of your child is an alpha prime werewolf...'

The words played on repeat in my head as I suddenly found it hard to breathe.

Tristan was an alpha prime werewolf.

I felt tears begin to fall down my cheeks.

"Don't cry, Miss Cecile. I'm not saying it's your fault." He said it gently. "I'm just telling you the facts. You have a child growing inside of you, and that makes you very valuable to the rogues."

"I don't understand," I whimpered.

"You'll learn," he said softly. "Now, let's talk about your options. We need to figure out where to go from here. You can't leave this place during a full moon."

"No, no. You don't understand." I shook my head, holding onto the fabric of my dress as a new sensation rocked my entire being.
