Chapter 74: The unexpected offer

"Why would I curse Mr. Kline when it was you who made him find me?" she questioned.

"So you are suggesting that if you were to curse one of us, it should be me?" His lips twitched. "You are heartless towards your master, little maid. Perhaps you should be punished." His eyes narrowed slightly as he uttered his last words.

He walked over to the coat rack and grabbed one while she remained near his desk, not taking her usual seat. She observed him with a slight crease on her forehead as if contemplating whether to say what was on her mind or not.

"Why are you still standing there? Go sit and finish your task. You won't be paid for staring at me."

Sienna glared at Lemiel's back. He turned towards her, raising an eyebrow in question as she hadn't followed his instructions and continued to stand there like a statue.
