Lemiel was silent for a moment. He only stared at Sienna with amusement clouding his eyes which looked like pools of daylight rising at midnight. His silence made Sienna realize that she had spoken too much.

"You know what, Lucienna," the sound of her own name from his lips sounded both familiar and strange to Sienna. He hadn't addressed her as such since they left Thefadore. "Your sarcastic remarks are making me thirsty. How about you come here and offer me your delicious blood? If you do, I will let you off the hook for questioning your master's actions."
