Chapter 74: At Land of Rain!
Three days later.
In the land where it rains, two red-headed walked together hand in hand under the rain.
But the strange was that the rain didn't touch them, and it slid past the two figures, making them dry in wet weather.
Kidou and Tsunade had arrived for the Four Kage Summit in the Amegakure. The location was decided by Kidou as he planned on looking around the country and see if he could subdue Hanzo to make this country his.
Before, he planned on sending spies to the Amegakure, but after looking around the country for the past day, Kidou had changed his mind.
Amegakure had a lot of potential to develop, especially the region's natural resources, such as fertile land, waterways, and mineral deposits, which offer opportunities for economic development and prosperity if properly harnessed, and the strategic location.
Tsunade also agreed with his words, but her focus was on different things. They had visited the place where Salamander lived, and Tsunade felt that this type of poison needed to be handled properly or it could lead to severe damage in case of war.
Not only this, but the duo also noticed that people in the Amegakure had stronger bodies, a strong affinity with Water, and some immunity towards poison that people of Konoha didn't have.
Both Kidou and Tsunade agreed with the matter of making Ame their subordinate territory, and they planned on developing it as a secret surprise for the world.
"They have arrived," Kidou said as he sensed the location of all Kages, and he sensed a few people who he deemed as guards.
"What about Demi-God Hanzo? Does he know about this matter?" Tsunade asked as she thought of something, and Kidou nodded at her.
"It seems he already knows about this matter, but he doesn't know the reason. Well, even if it is Hanzo's territory, he doesn't dare to challenge the four villages together, and he might ask for some compensation for entering the village without any notice."
Tsunade raised her brows at the words, and a chuckle escaped her lips.
"Haha, so that's how it is. You understand that the four of them will dump the responsibility on you, and then you planned on convincing Hanzo with your strength."
"Not strength but by my virtue," Kidou said with a laugh, and Tsunade rolled her eyes at the words. She understood what he meant by virtue, and Tsunade saw Kidou sending four clones away.
"Well, if you want to say something in the meeting, then you can. I am sure that they won't allow the guards to enter and might make a fuss too."
Tsunade snorted at the words. If the four Kage really made a fuss, she wouldn't mind dealing with them, and let them understand the anger she had towards them.
Soon, they reached the location of the meeting, and there, Kidou sensed Handzo's ANBU.
"Tell Hanzo to come on his own if he wants to ask something." Kidou looked in the direction of ANBU and said the words. The ANBU ninja froze at the words, and seeing that he was found out, he left the place and went back to meet Hanzo.
A few moments later, the Four Kages appeared with their guards and Kidou looked at them with a curious look on his face. He released his senses to check the guards, and he understood that the Kages had brought cannon fodders.
"Was it necessary to bring them to die?" Kidou said before they could say anything, and the atmosphere froze at the words.
Looking at the cold looks on the Kages of their respective village, the guards felt chills and they wondered what Kidou meant.
"You can send them to me. I will make sure that they won't appear in the world, and it can be a little compensation for making me wait."
With a lazy look on his face, Kidou asked as if he was asking a candy, and the guards flinched at Kidou's words.
"Stop it! Let's talk about that matter, and end everything. I have several things to do with you pulling that stunt." Raikage said while releasing his chakra, and Kidou looked at him with a grin on his face.
"Haha! Are you saying this for real? Didn't you all agree in this matter to save your stupid face? Do you think I can see how you all actually feel?"
"Are you all forgetting the beating you received that day?" Kidou said while going into Kurama Mode, and everyone in the place felt a terrible chakra pressure on them.
Except for the Four Kage, Tsunade, and Kidou, everyone else lost their consciousness.
The pressure on the four kage increased when Kidou looked at the stubborn look on their face. A silhouette of Death God started to appear behind Kidou, making the temperature drop and Kidou took back the chakra pressure.
The Death God looked at Kidou for a moment and seeing that the deal wasn't broken, it disappeared, and the Four Kages were disappointed by this.
In reality, everything was done by Kidou using chakra and he created a mirage as he wasn't bound by the rules of contract. If the Four Kage broke the contract, the same thing would happen, and instead of stopping, they would be killed by the Death God.
"Hehe, stupid defeated goons," Kidou said with disdain evident in his voice, and the four Kages clenched their hand at his words.
"Another one is coming," Kidou said in a low voice, and the Four Kages looked in the direction where Kidou turned. They saw Demi-God Hanzo coming with a few Ninjas around him, and Tsuchikage narrowed his eyes with various thoughts in his mind.
"The Kage of the four villages, and Kage of Uzushiogakure. What are you five doing in my country without reporting me about this matter? Are you five trying to start a new war by fighting in this country?"
Hanzo said while looking at the six people standing and a few people lying on the ground.
He remembered the chakra pressure he felt before, and now looking at the scene, he understood that it was the Uzumaki Ninja who released the chakra.
So he thought that the person who was standing there was the Kage of Uzushiogakure.
Kidou looked at Hanzo for a second and then at the Four Kages. He had a smirk on his face and looking at his expression, the four kages understood that they had underestimated him again.
It seemed that he already knew what they were thinking, and with a gloating look on his face, the four kages felt like he was looking forward to this matter.
So, Tsuchikage pulled Raikage, who was about to say something. Raikage looked at Tsuchikage and saw him shaking his head. He understood that there was no need to say this matter, and looking at them, Kidou frowned and said, "How boring!"
"Since you four don't want to say anything, I will say. Hanzo, I was the one who asked them to meet me here. As for the reason, I won't say. Wait for now and when I am done talking with them, I will talk to you regarding this matter."
Kidou said while looking at Hanzo and he released his chakra at him. Sensing this, Hanzo also fought back with his chakra, and after the confrontation, Hanzo understood that he was no match for Kidou in terms of chakra potency (Pressure).
