Chapter 16: daily life ch 14
It's almost been a week since my fight with my first shikigami, and thanks to that I now know that I still need to improve more.
"Hmmm, it's almost been a week now and thanks to my new shikigami I can now hide my solid strike cleaver inside my shadow, man having the ten shadow is very convenient, don't you think so Baku"
I am in the same place where me and Baku fought since I want to test something, and infront of me is Baku who is now 2 time bigger than what he used to last week
"And Thanks to my ever so curious self I've discovered a new way to make my shikigami more powerful, by pouring it with cursed energy it can now grow in size and not only that baku's sommun has become much more stronger as well"
and for the past week I've also discovered that baku's abilities has something to do with nightmares. it was last week after I defeated my first shikigami, I was heading back home while riding Baku I then happen to pass by to some rural village and to my surprise Baku then open it's mouth, although I don't know what he's doing but in the next moment Baku then sommun another creature but this time it was a giant lion with red eyes, as I was watching Baku sommun the lion, everything clicked in to me
(A/N since Baku can sommun any nightmares it devours. meaning I can create any creatures I want
"Ohh I see so it has something to do with nightmare's consider how big this lion is, interesting, maybe I should explore the different places in Africa to gain more nightmares"
And so I did, for the past week all I did was ride on Baku and went to different places to gather some nightmares, and thanks to it I've now accumulated a quite amount of nightmares
"but the real question though how many can Baku sommun as all I've been doing is just collecting,hmmm, alright thinking it won't be much of a help in this moment, so let's try some test then, Baku sommun"
As I gave Baku the order Baku then sommun almost 20 creatures
"Hmm so this is your limit huh, considering how strong you are when we fought, I was expecting at least 30, but wait is 3 you're maximum when we fought or were you just holding back,hmm I doubt it, 3 must be your maximum considering it's impossible for you to beat me if you hold back"
'if Baku was really holding back and our fight was prolonged, I would've quickly figured it out how to destroy the creatures then Baku would've been in a disadvantage if it has only one creatures, so I doubt it's holding back
"sigh anyway it can't be help if that is your limit, but what about if I pour you some cursed energy, will it change it"
As I pour some cursed energy to Baku, baku's body then started to enlarge about two times it body mass just earlier, and he was able to sommun 40 of it
"Hmm, it's still not enough but it will be sufficient, for my next shikigami conquest"
As hurriedly went home I saw Will's car parking on the side, and when I enter I saw Kyle happily conversing with Will and beside him is a woman
'hmm, that must be Will's fiancee'
As I was walking closer Will spotted me and urges me to come over
"Hey, ichiro it's been a long time, how are you"
"Ah yes, Will it is been a long time, I'm doing alright"
"Hahaha, I see oh by the way, i want you to meet my fiance, her name is Margarette, Margarette this is ichiro, he's the kid that I was telling you"
"Oh hey, ichiro it's nice to finally meet you"
"Oh hello Miss Margarette, it's nice to meet you as well"
After our greetings Kyle then spoke
"So ichiro how was it, doing fine?"
"Yes, thanks to it I was able to improve more"
As we were talking about the so called curse spirit training that I suggest to him last week Will then spoke, curious as to what we were talking about
"Umm, what are you guys talking about"
Kyle then respond to Will's question
"Well we were talking about his training, since I've taught him almost everything I know, so he requested i let him go explore the Africa and train, so that he could gain more experience"
Will's fiancee then suddenly speak
"Oh my how diligent of you ichiro"
"Well I need to be strong so that I can protect my loved ones"
"That's so admirable of you, but why are you training so hard though, if you are only protecting you're loved ones shouldn't you just train normally, it's not like you will be fighting some monster or anything, we are in the modern world you know"
"Haha, I guess you're right but you can never be too sure, it's always better to be prepared"
"I see but be careful not to overstrain yourself as you are still growing you know, and make sure you get enough sleep okay"
"Yess miss Margarette, I will"
After our conversation I then went upstairs and into my room
(A/N hey dear readers I probably won't be posting some new chapters for about a week as I am preparing for my exams, by the way I will be skipping some months and just dive straight to the MC fighting his shikigami since I know some of you don't like training and prepare some action so I'll do just that 😉😉
