Chapter 250: -245- Sarah Fortune

"Wait, everyone, take a seat."

"We can sit and talk; no need for this."

"Yes, Sir Linwin."

Pressing down on Bronnie's enthusiasm, Linwin found himself in a perplexing situation.

What's going on here?

Observing the enforcers showing respect, Linwin wondered if he should play along with the atmosphere and smirk.

No, what kind of third-rate novel face-slapping scene is this?

"Are you the first batch of enforcers following Graves?"

Bronnie nodded excitedly. For Zaunite enforcers, Linwin was a figure greater than many. Each Zaunite knew what Linwin Lorant had done, shaping Zaun's rise with money and technology.

He was a hero, Zaun's hero.

He played a crucial role in Zaun's current status, even surpassing Lord Vander.

So when Bronnie felt Linwin's hand on his shoulder, he felt honored. His face turned red with excitement, sitting on that rickety stool as if it were a grand throne.

"No, sir, we are the second batch of enforcers to arrive in Bilgewater. On the day we departed, you even reminded us to stay safe."

"Oh, is that so?" Linwin tapped his face. Raven, having approached unnoticed, coughed before cautiously asking, "Bronnie, do you know this....uh.... merchant?"

Raven glanced at Linwin, who looked back with an amused yet nonchalant expression, shaking his head inwardly.

In the past, Linwin would revel in such situations in Zaun, where he faced mockery due to his small stature. He would walk up to the leader, and let their leader remind his lackys who this little guy was - the Undercity's Enforcer, so in Zaun's streets, alleys, Linwin was a well-known figure.

However, Linwin had matured. As a non-human, the fear and astonishment of ordinary people no longer amused him. He couldn't find joy in these face-slapping scenarios anymore.

"Merchant? Raven, do you know who this is? He's—"

Brownie's mouth was suddenly shut, and Linwin withdrew his finger. Brownie's eyes first showed a hint of astonishment, then turned into a look of ecstasy.

It's magic, the wind magic of Sir Linwin!

Many people said that Sir Linwin is the most faithful follower of the goddess Janna. His sincere faith has earned him the blessing of the Wind Goddess, granting him powerful wind magic.

Brownie stared at Linwin with fervent eyes.

And Linwin could only shake his head helplessly.

The Zaunite enforcers practically treated his words as if they were divine decrees. If they knew that the burly man in front of them and the bartender had been rude to Linwin, they would have pulled out their guns without hesitation and given them a beating.

Zaun, known for its toughness and ruthlessness, never backed down.

So Linwin interrupted Brownie and had no intention of telling him about the earlier incident.

This kind of third-rate novel plot is just something to pass over.

Looking at Raven, Linwin continued, "I'm sort of their boss, but you don't need to worry about my identity. Your name is Raven, right?"

Raven swallowed hard and nodded, "About what happened earlier....."

Linwin chuckled and interrupted him gently. "It's alright. Now, could you help me find Graves?"

"Of course, no problem." Raven nodded vigorously.

"Hey!" Clapping his hands, Raven loudly called over his subordinates. "You all go to the Black Swan, the Bloody Arsenal, and the Wolf's Den. Find Blackbeard."

"Yes, right away!" The bartender put down his towel and immediately prepared to rush out of the Rose Tavern.

"No need!"

At that moment, a hearty shout echoed.

The wooden door of the Rose Inn was kicked open, accompanied by the sound of a gunshot.

"Everyone out! The Rose Tavern is closed today. If you haven't paid, don't bother. But if you have, please leave as well. Don't make me repeat myself."

With these words, a triumphant voice resounded.

As people in the Rose Tavern stood up silently, a group quickly and orderly made their way out of the door.

The speed at which they left was as if staying for another second would invite disaster.

Two groups passed by her side, exiting the Rose Tavern.

She then pointed her gun in front of her, lips slightly parted as she blew away the black smoke from the barrel.

Her attire was extremely revealing. Linwin struggled to describe what she wore on her upper body.

Zaunites' attire was already revealing, and Powder often wore clothes that gave Linwin a headache, like the little vest she liked to wear for experiments, saying it was convenient and cool.

But that little vest, worn from the side, would reveal a lot, although Powder was flat, it was just like that. If it were Kai'Sa wearing that outfit, half of her chest would probably be exposed.

That incident annoyed Linwin quite a bit.

And looking at the woman in front of him, Linwin found it really hard to understand. That...."thing"....aren't you worried it will fall off with a little movement?

She approached, swaying, her movements like waves.

Big, she was really big.

Much bigger than Kai'Sa and Powder combined. Honestly, ten Powders wouldn't add up to her alone!

Her fiery red hair cascaded in gentle waves, covering half her face. But the half-face revealed was astonishingly beautiful.

Linwin knew her name well. Linwin played her every day in Summoner's Rift.

"You're the man Graves mentioned?" Putting on the pirate hat, she raised her head, looking at Linwin with pride in her gray eyes.

"Nice to meet you, Miss Fortune," Linwin sniffed and said.
