Ahmed strode towards the only place he could think of, while his mind went back to what Sheby had done. She had actually agreed to stay back, and it made him speechless. He was truly grateful. She had the same kind of heart as Safiya, even though she always carried a stoic expression. Selfless people like that always earned a place in his heart, and Sheby had just earned that.

At the thought of Safiya, his heart leaped. She had followed the king, but it had been more than a week, and she was supposed to be back. He was sure he had seen the king a few times. How was he back and she was not? Or maybe he was wrong. Maybe the king wasn't back. He had to find out.
