Chapter 1: Risk
Gloomy: the only thing that will not be random regarding rewards in this fic is the first power he received cause I've had an idea regarding ice powers lately constantly going through my head

One second I was beginning to re-read one piece the next a loud snap rang out and then everything became engulfed in darkness
A huge purple gumball machine thing materialized in front of me with a cranking sound something began to click and clack until it hit the bottom where it came to rest
With a pop, it opened up to reveal its contents
[World Selected: One Piece]
Before I could try to figure out what happened however the ball disappeared repeating its actions yet another ball came out
[Power Selected: Ice]
[Would you like to receive a debuff for a buff in return?]
"Could I please get an explanation for what's going on before anything else?" I ask in complete bewilderment
[The host is currently being reincarnated into the One Piece world]
While the opportunity sounded fantastic why would I give up my life of comfort for the one-piece world?
"Umm, No thanks I would prefer to be sent back please"
[The host request is impossible] It responds immediately
"Why?" I ask feeling my memories of my past life slowly fade
[The host was killed by the god governing your past world]
"What? Why would they do that?" I ask bewildered
[The reason is irrelevant all that matters is you are currently being reincarnated into One Piece] I frown my memories no longer intact everything a blurry mess names now distorted sounds people hideous blobs of colors mingling together
The only thing I can remember clear as day is One Piece
[Now would you like to get a random debuff for a buff?] The thing? Questions me once more
"I have only three more questions" I state after deciding to throw away any worries about my past life
[Please ask away]
"What is the ice power?" I ask hoping for something amazing especially if I get dropped somewhere like the New World
[ The Ice power you will be receiving will be completely unrelated to devil fruits and will not be affected by you eating one]
[It will allow you to freeze water, manipulate ice, and also conjure ice this ability will consume stamina there are other ways to use this power but currently you are restricted to basic information as any further information would be considered a major advantage in your development]
I pause briefly thinking of possible uses for this ability before I continue
"What are you?"
[I am the gacha system I will reward you with points for completing missions I give you or for winning battles]
[with those points you can purchase rolls from numerous different gacha from items to people!]
"Like people from other franchises?"
[Correct though it is the most expensive gacha category]
"Ok, so what are the rebuffs for buffs thing" I ask trying to dispel my disgust at the thought of purchasing literal people
[The debuffs will never be too debilitating for example you will not lose a leg or foot however you might lose a toe in exchange for something amazing like Conqueror Haki it is all up to chance]
"So I won't lose a limb?" I question the risk sounding worth it
[Incorrect the Host can lose a limb however not a leg or foot as it is too debilitating but if it's just a singular arm then that would be deemed acceptable]
The risk was huge but was the reward?
"And what about the buffs?"
[ The buffs are also random however divided into categories for example if you were to lose an arm then that would be calculated on a scale of 1-10 10 so the buff can only be 10]
[But the calculation is affected by other debuffs too for example if you were to lose your sense of smell and get another debuff that impairs your taste or some other sense the original 5 goes to a 7 so the buff could only be 7-10]
The risk was worth the reward
