"Now to learn," Oliver said to himself, feeling a renewed sense of purpose.
After ordering a ride on his new phone, he first visited an interior designer he found online.
He hired them and gave them his address, confident that they would handle all the details of his new home.
Next, he directed the ride to the nearest library. He wanted to utilize his newfound abilities, particularly his enhanced intelligence.
The Celestial had mentioned that he would be able to tell what had changed, even if he couldn't measure the extent. Oliver felt smarter, but he needed to determine how this newfound intelligence manifested. Was he just wiser, or had his overall intellect increased?
Arriving at the library, Oliver was searched and allowed in. He headed straight to the science section, specifically focusing on quantum physics.
While he had a basic understanding of physics, anything related to quantum mechanics had always seemed like jargon to him. If he could understand it now, it would confirm that he had surpassed his former self significantly.
He brought along paper and a pencil, ready to dive into self-study—something he had never found effective in the past. Oliver knew he had never been particularly good at studying on his own; he needed someone to teach him directly. But now, he was determined to test his new capabilities.
"If it was this easy, then why did that stupid man make it sound like we'd die if we ever tried to study it?" Oliver muttered as he read through complex texts.
Surprisingly, he understood the material. His mind processed numbers and concepts effortlessly, and he began to recall his old physics classes in great detail.
The Primagen had not only made him wiser but had also enhanced his mental capabilities. He was smarter, had a better memory, and could grasp complex concepts more easily.
Hours later, Oliver left the library with a sense of accomplishment. He had confirmed his increased intelligence and now felt ready to learn more about this world.
His next goal was to understand the Marvel Universe, including its heroes, villains, and the complex dynamics at play.
He ordered another ride and headed to a place he thought might offer insights into the world he now inhabited: a comic book store.
Marvel Comics often had detailed lore about the characters and events within the Marvel Universe. While it wouldn't be a perfect guide, it would give him a starting point.
At the comic book store, he browsed through various titles, picking up issues that covered key events and characters.
He specifically looked for comics featuring the X-Men, Avengers, and major villains like Thanos and Kang the Conqueror. These comics would provide a broad overview of the threats and alliances in this universe.
With a stack of comics and graphic novels, Oliver returned to his new home, which was still in the process of being furnished.
He settled in, eager to immerse himself in the stories and learn as much as he could. If he was going to navigate this dangerous world, he needed every bit of knowledge he could get.
The Marvel Universe was vast and complex, but Oliver was determined to master it, one page at a time.
