"I can get this for $200,000?" Oliver asked as he looked through the brochure provided.
The house he pointed to was a large mansion with about five rooms, an indoor and outdoor pool, a massive compound, and, above all, it was in a rather remote but not too isolated area. A two-minute walk would bring him back to society, but it was far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city.
"Yes, sir," the man answered awkwardly.
From the man's behavior, it was clear that such prices were normal in this world. It seemed this world might actually be better than his previous one.
"Anyway, I'll take it," Oliver said without much hesitation.
The property was in a good place. It was close to society but not too close, allowing him to live in luxury while also having his privacy.
"There will be a $5,000 commission fee," the agent said.
"That doesn't matter to me. Is there a Social Security Administration office nearby?" Oliver asked, remembering his current limit.
"There is one directly behind us. I can escort you there if you need," the man said.
"That would be helpful," Oliver replied as he stood up.
He knew the man was only making sure not to lose the customer he finally got, but that didn't concern him much. He just needed to get some form of identification so he could upgrade his account level and increase his upper limits.
Twenty minutes later, Oliver was standing before the administration office. Since he didn't plan to wait in line like the 'peasants', he immediately approached one of the many officials in the building.
"Good day, sir. How may we help you?" the lady asked.
"Who's in charge?"
"Sir?"
"Let me take care of this," the agent said as he quickly took over.
Seeing the agent's familiarity with the group, Oliver let him handle it, and several minutes later, he was in an office with the agent and a man.
"I hear you were looking for me?"
"It's simple, actually. I just need a Social Security number."
"Then you should have joined the line."
"Oh, please cut the crap. How much would it take for it to be done quickly?"
"I see," the man said as he sat up in his seat.
An hour later, Oliver left the office, but unlike when he entered, his eyes were entirely focused on his phone. Within seconds, his account limits were updated to more than a million dollars.
He could go further, but that wasn't needed for now. Since he was done here, they went straight back to the realtor's office to complete the transaction.
Several hours later, Oliver was in his new home. Of course, there wasn't much in it apart from a bed that he had bought on his way here.
"Well, it's a start," he said before jumping on the bed.
The house may be empty, but it was still home. He could furnish it when he woke up tomorrow. For now, he needed to rest his mind after all he had been through today.
The next day, a young man could be seen lifting a mattress above his head, supporting its weight entirely on one hand. A smile could be seen on the man's face.
"All hail the Celestial!" Oliver screamed in joy.
It was unbelievable; he was stronger… much stronger than before. He didn't know how it was possible, but he could sense a deep well of untapped strength within him.
Not only that, he could feel several other changes within him. He couldn't tell exactly how much stronger he was now, but he knew that this was only the beginning.
