Chapter 25: Scars

MARIES POV.

I had managed to wiggle myself into the bathroom and had a quick warm wash. I dared not to add anything other than the fresh running warm water from the tap.

I had bled too much, I reeked of blood and its scent was awful, walking into the bathroom I took a long glance at myself and all I saw staring back into the mirror was someone who just had a blood bath.

The stains were sticking to my skin, they were not washing away so I had to stand under the shower for an even longer time, it was hard at first but gradually got used to it.

The time would come every now and then as the water hit the Sore spot, the torn spot, or the bruised spot.

All in all, it was very horrible for me, I could not just have it off but then again I was carrying a child in me.
