Song Jian and the other disciples rushed into the Swordwood Forest, quickly discovering an oval-shaped purple teleportation portal over two meters high within it.

"This is the place, brothers, I wish you all good luck!" a disciple dressed in the attire of a direct disciple said with a smile, cupping his hands towards everyone before stepping into the portal first.

Shortly, one by one, the disciples entered. Upon stepping through the portal, Song Jian felt a blur before his eyes and then as if someone had given him a shove from behind, causing him to stagger forward a couple of steps.

When he steadied himself, he found that he was standing at the edge of a canyon.

Gazing into the distance, the cliff walls on both sides of the canyon were as smooth as mirrors, appearing as if a giant crack had split open the earth, stretching straight ahead with no end in sight.
