At that moment, tears streamed down Wei Yiling's face.
"Don't worry, my Ling'er, I will be with you for a lifetime," declared Mu Wanlan.
Wei Yiling was in turmoil. She knew she couldn't get over Ye Chen, yet she didn't want to become a burden on him. Most importantly, there was another girl who liked Ye Chen so much.
It was not easy for Mu Wanlan to push Ling'er into the room.
"This is just the beginning. There is a lifetime ahead of us," said Ling'er.
"But all this is not your fault," Wei Yiling retorted.
"Yes, it indeed isn't my fault, but I can't use that as an excuse to hold Ye Chen back," Ling'er responded.
"I think you're pushing yourself too hard," commented Wei Yiling.
Wei Yiling, however, appeared extraordinarily calm, as if she had quickly made a decision, just lacking the mental preparation.
Ling'er asked, "Are they planning to save the Red Demonic Spirit with a spell tomorrow?"
"Yes, tomorrow at their Spirit-gathering Hall."
