Chapter 268: The One Who Endures

"Don't let him escape!!!" Ziaman's voice resounded as he and Drothan blasted through the sky, chasing down the silhouette of the Supreme Leader Nephron.

The Decapitator of old was a Transcendent being like them, having entered the stage of level 5. No matter how Nephron tried, he could only imitate the grandeur of that being who had caused so much worry in the Sacred Lands.

At least, that was what Ziaman thought in his mind, and to that effect, he came to the conclusion that Nephron had stolen the weapon or acquired it through a fortuitous encounter. Unfortunately, in the Sacred Lands, fortune can also be a curse when held in the hands of those who are weaker.

They were not only going to capture Leon and Bran; they would also take the Decapitator's great sword for their own, even if it meant prying it from Nephron's lifeless body.
