"Want to see who can cross this fog first?" Kenny Lin asked Amalia with a grin.

"Sure." A small wager to pass the time, Amalia agreed without hesitation.

In the next moment, Kenny Lin revealed his true intentions. "If you lose, then after we leave this place, we'll dual cultivate once every seven days. If something comes up or you go into seclusion, the sessions will carry over until later."

He had originally intended to suggest dual cultivating daily or every three days, but he worried Amalia would reject him outright.

Amalia frowned. "...No bet."

"Alright, alright," Kenny Lin said, pretending to compromise. "I'll take the loss here—if something comes up, we won't carry over the missed sessions." He gave her a helpless look as if he had no choice in the matter.
