"Why would they help you lure a wandering spirit of that level?" Amalia was curious. She didn't think the women of the Divine Maiden Sect were that altruistic.

"How would I know what they were thinking? Maybe they wanted to snatch the spirit orb for themselves? That woman probably had some hidden agenda." He paused, voice dropping slightly. "Luckily, she didn't act against me then. Otherwise, I wouldn't have let it go so easily."
