The three Pixiu quickly led the pursuing humans further away, drawing them deeper into the distance.

Meanwhile, Amalia and Kenny Lin had been waiting for half a day with no sign of the others. Strange noises occasionally came from outside.

"Are we going to keep waiting?" Kenny Lin asked, clearly bored.

"It's been so long, I fear something bad might've happened," Amalia replied, feeling an ominous sense of foreboding.

Kenny Lin gave a sly smile. "Silent Echo Valley is vast. If they truly fled, the humans and devils would probably pursue them."
