Chapter 7: Move Out (Part 3)
The apartment that Amalia chose was fully furnished, so she only needed to carry her bag and move in directly. Taking the aerial bus from the station near the Rodriguez family, it took only ten minutes to arrive.
However, a short time didn't necessarily mean proximity to the Rodriguez family.
In the year 4510, Earth technology had advanced rapidly. While not reaching the level of the future world, holographic technology had become widespread worldwide. The old-style telephones had been phased out, replaced by communication devices similar to light-brains.

The second breakthrough was the aerial bus, the fastest-developing means of transportation. It had become the most widely used form of transportation on Earth, connecting even the southernmost and northernmost parts of the city in just half an hour. People were reluctant to drive anymore, except for wealthy individuals who drove floating cars. They could also use the aerial passageways.
A man was waiting at the entrance of the apartment. Seeing Amalia approach, he walked up to her and asked, "Are you Miss Amalia?"
"Yes." Amalia nodded.
The man checked the identification information she had provided, confirmed it was correct, and then opened the apartment door. He took out a document from his briefcase and said, "This is the rental contract for the apartment. Take a look. If you have no objections, you can sign your name here. There's also an electronic version that you need to sign..."
The man spoke rapidly, but Amalia casually skimmed through the document, then confidently took out a pen and signed her name without appearing to have carefully read the contract.
"What, don't you still need to sign the electronic version?" Amalia finished signing and noticed that the man was staring at her in a daze. Her eyebrow twitched slightly as she asked.
"Oh..." The man snapped out of his thoughts, then brought up an electronic version for her to sign.
Amalia efficiently signed her name again. She could guess what the man was thinking.
As a genuine spiritual cultivator, a single glance allowed her to understand all the contents of the contract. However, in this world, the majority were ordinary humans. Even though cultivators were making a big scene, they still didn't dare disrupt the balance between ordinary humans and cultivators. Thus, most ordinary humans were unaware of the existence of spirit cultivators who could challenge the heavens.
