Alvida, Honey, Marianne and Mikita walked down a narrow path. The path had footprints however it was covered in twigs, fallen branches, leaves and overgrown roots.
"This path has not been walked for a while until recently," Mikita said as she carefully stepped over a piece of branch.
"You are right, this island feels like it was once home to people," Alvida said.
"I wonder what happened?" Marianne asked.
"Maybe we will find the answer once we get to the end of the path," Honey said.
"Maybe either way let's keep our eyes open, there are many footsteps here and I doubt they are all friendly," Alvida said.
As they walked down the path, they saw a large rock. The rock had the words "Mi Town" carved into it. It had weeds and dirt all over the rocks however it was smudged out.
"It looks like someone wiped it to read it," Mikita said.
"It looks very recent as well," Alvida said.
"Let's keep moving," Alvida added. The girls nodded and they continued down the path. They walked for another 15 minutes until they reached the village.
The village was abandoned, lost to the annals of time. It bore the heavy weight of decay across its once-vibrant landscape. Buildings that had once housed bustling lives now stood as mere skeletons, their walls weathered and cracked. The cobblestone streets, which once echoed with the footsteps of villagers, were now obscured by the relentless advance of nature, reclaiming its territory. Houses, with roofs sagging and holes where windows once were. Faded paint clung stubbornly to the remnants of walls.
"It definitely is abandoned," Marianne said.
"This place is a bit creepy," Honey added. Marianne and Honey had chills on their spine.
"It is, let's explore a bit and then leave," Alvida said.
"Yes, I don't want to stay here longer than we should," Mikita added.
"Let's split up into two teams to cover more ground but stay close," Alvida said.
"Okay, me and Marianne will be one team," Honey said. Marianne nodded.
"Okay," Alvida said.
"I guess it's us two," Mikita said. She smiled. Alvida nodded.
Honey and Marianne went exploring to one of the village huts. Mikita and Alvida took another hut.
The old hut in the abandoned village bore the marks of time both inside and out. Its exterior, clad in a weather-beaten thatch roof and worn walls. Nature had claimed its territory, with vines creeping up the sides and wildflowers sprouting in the crevices. The door, hanging on rusty hinges. Faded sunlight filtered through the holes, casting shadows upon remnants of a life once lived. Alvida and Mikita walked into a hut.
They saw vines and leaves, flowers everywhere. Mikita and Alvida walked around the small hut. There was a drawing on the wall. It decapitated a large monster with two arms and a long mouth. The drawings were up on the wall at a high place and the area around it was clear.
"That monster seems like a god," Alvida said.
"It looked like they worshiped it," Mikita added.
"It's everywhere," Alvida replied back.
They looked around and saw most things were covered in mold.
"I don't think we will find anything here," Mikita said looking in disgust.
"I agree," Alvida said.
She looked at Mikita. "So are you okay?" Alvida asked.
"Okay?" Mikita replied back. She was confused about the question.
"My love and you could not do it last time and the quest has missed you this time," Alvida said.
"I am fine but a bit upset," Mikita replied. Her smile was gone.
"And?" Alvida urged.
"Fine, I am worried that Ben may not need me," Mikita said. Her voice had fear and was shaky.
Alvida smiled and approached Mikita and put her hand on his shoulder. "My love cares for all, he does not care that some can do this and some do that," Alvida replied.
"I know, it's in the rules and Ben is not like that but…" Mikita said.
"No buts, you know my love would never do that," Alvida firmly stated.
Mikita looked at Alvida and saw her confidence and determination. She smiled back. After their last time together, she had a doubt that Ben would be disappointed. She knew it was not true and Ben even said it himself but it was there. "Thank you," Mikita replied.
Alvida smiled wider. "I know you are strong but a lady`s heart can be fragile. It hurts you that you cannot experience what we can give to him however next time you will," Alvida said.
Mikita smiled back. "Okay, let's get back to it, who knows what Marianne and Honey are up to," Alvida said.
"Let me check on them," Mikita said as she bounced off.
Alvida smiled. She knew Mikita was strong however she was pushing herself too much for the wrong reasons and that could be dangerous. This talk would have helped her. Alvida also left and headed to the next hut.
Mikita headed outside and started walking when suddenly a female voice was heard saying, "Stop who are you?"
Mikita looked to her side and saw a slightly-tanned young woman with large brown eyes and short brown hair. She wore a blue, sleeveless shirt and blue shorts. She also wore a fur-lined, horned blue hat and beige sandals. She had a group of men and women behind her. They looked like typical pirates.
"I can ask you the same question?" Mikita replied.
The women looked angry. "I asked first," she shouted.
"Fine, I am Mikita of the Love Pirates," Mikita replied. She did realise it was a bit foolish to say she was a pirate however they looked like pirates.
"Pirates, you are after the Great Hidden Treasure of the Nanatsu Islands. Well too bad, it belongs to the Meryl Pirates," Meryl said. She had a staff in her hand.
"So it's called that," Mikita whispered.
"Walk away and you will not get hurt," Meryl threatened.
"I can't do that, the Love Pirates will obtain the treasure," Mikita stated.
"Fine, get her and her crew," Meryl ordered. Two pirates walked up to Mikita.
"Are you coming quietly?" the pirate asked. He had a grin on his face.
"Meteor Fist," Mikita said as she increased her weight dramatically in her two hands. She threw a powerful punch at the two pirates' stomach. The both spat blood feeling the rib cages being crushed as they went down. They groaned in pain.
The pirates looked surprised. "So we can throw a punch," Meryl said and added, "Take them, we need this treasure."
Four pirates ran up to Mikita. They all had swords. The first pirate swung his blade down. Mikita dodged it and kicked his face. The pirate lost a tooth. He went down to his hands and knees. The second pirate tried to stab Mikita in the stomach. Mikita jumped out of the way and punched him in the face. He stumbled backwards. She jumped in the air and kicked his chest as he went down.
She immediately ran up to the other two pirates. They both swung their blades down. Mikita dodged it and round kicked them both. They went flying in the air and landed on the ground. She walked back to the first pirate sobbing about his lost tooth and kicked him in the face. He went down.
At the time, three female pirates ran up with machetes. "That treasure is ours," the female pirate said as she swung her machete towards Mikita`s face. Mikita ducked down and kicked the female pirate in her stomach. The female pirate bent over due to the pain where Mikita lifted her leg and kicked her leg downwards. The female pirate face planted on the ground. The two female pirates look frightened.
Another pirate fired a gun towards Mikita. "Featherfall," Mikita said as she reduced her weight to near zero. She was able to float allowing her to dodge the bullet. She went up in the air. The pirates tried to shoot her however Mikita just dodged the bullets.
"Gravity Stomp," Mikita said as she increased her weight dramatically. She went down with speed and delivered a powerful stomp. As her foot connected with the ground, a shockwave travels through the ground, causing small tremors and knocking pirates off their balance. Some stumbled, some fell. However, they all looked frightened. They were dealing with something else they thought. They ran.
Mikita smiled. Meryl was not happy. "Cowards," she shouted. She ran up with her staff towards Mikita. The staff had a point blade at the top. It functioned like a spear. She ran up and tried to stab her. Mikita dodged. She tried to stab her chest. Mikita jumped back. Meryl tried to stab her stomach. Mikita took a side step and punched Merly on the face.
Meryl lost her balance and stumbled to the ground. She looked angry. She touched her face which was in pain. She rubbed it. She gritted her teeth and got up. "I will take you down," Meryl said.
She ran up and Mikita kicked her stomach. Her eyes balled out. She let out spit as she got kicked. Her back hunched and she went back flying as she landed on the ground.
"You cannot beat me," Mikita said. Merly coughed up blood. Her stomach was in pain. It was one hell of a kick she thought but she was not down. She stood up again. Merly ran towards Mikita again.
She jumped in the air and swung her staff down. Mikita jumped in the air and dodged the tip of the staff. Her foot was now heading towards Merly`s face. "Lightning Swift Kick," Mikita said as she decreased her weight to near-zero, and became light and swift. She then launched a series of fast kicks at Merly who got hit in the face, chest, stomach and arms rapidly. Mikita hit her a few times and then landed back on the ground. Merly fell down to the ground and landed with a big thud. She was out cold.
Mikita thought there may be more groups out here. The footprints they saw previously indicated a large group.
