Chapter 4: Training ground
'The sound of something collapsing reached our ears and after some small discussions we decided to check the situation and so we walked towards the direction of the sound.
After walking for half an hour the sight of some ruins came in our view.'
'After walking near it, we saw that the ruins consist of tens of small and big old stone houses with broken walls that had crackes all over them along with a collapsed tower at the centre of the ruins which seemed to have recently collapsed and was the reason for the sound'.
Jack ordered them to search the houses to see if there is any information regarding this place or this world while he and Michael, the vice-captain of the squad walked towards the collapsed tower.
After reaching the centre they searched separately to see if they could find anything important and while searching in the debris of the tower for almost three hour or so, Michael came to jack with a rusty rectangular in one hand. Jack took the box from Michael's hand and opened it only to see three shining arrows inside it and a paper note which stated the name and the description of the arrows and how to use it.
According to the discription stated in the paper, the Arrows were called 'Fire-bee arrows' and it can pierce through anyone or any defence below level 10 easily without any resistance and also you don't need a bow for the arrows, just throw them at the target but the target should be within the range of 30m or else it's accuracy will decrease.
After reading the discription, both jack and Michael were happy as after wasting so much time in the ruins they got nothing so far but their hard work finally paid off and atleast they don't have to return empty handed from the ruins and so they called their squad members and asked if they found anything useful to which he received no positive answers and so it was decided that they will return to the gates as soon as possible, the longer they stayed here the heavier their body becomes as if the world was rejecting them and if they didn't leave the training ground in a few days they will likely die from this increasingly heavy pressure on their body.
And so they marched towards the direction of the gate and while moving, Jack was thinking about the whole situation inside the training ground from the start, like how the moment they were teleported inside the training ground a robotic voice was heard inside their brain that said, "WELOCME TO THE TRAINING GROUND", and the first thing they saw was a green mark above their head that indicated that they were players and a transparent screen appeared in front of them on which a message was written that stated that the training ground is only available for players under level 25 and that they can only stay here for a limited period of time at once and after that they have to rest for a few days before they could enter again.
And while in training ground we gets a skill called 'Apprise', (Iron grade) rank 1 that can be used to apprise any plant, animal, monster or artifact below level 10 or 5 levels above yours (not including other players). And while sorting all these informations he walked along with his squad.
And like that they headed towards the gate to return home and while walking they killed a lot of monsters that varied from level 1 to 5 as that were all that they could find and the loots were collected and the meat was used as food and while cutting these animals it was seen that some of them contained small peanut size small stones in their heart.
Upon closer inspection, it was observed that the it was made up of some kind of energy and is compressed to form the stone and so we moved while killing any and all animals that we came across and collected these so called stones.
After half a day, some of them were heavily injured during the battles with some high level animals. Jack ordered the scouts to scout the nearby area whlie the injured treated their wounds. After some time the scouts returned with smile on their faces and told Jack that they found a streaming river nearby and also there was a unique monster.
Jack asked his squad to rest well for sometime and after that they will go near the river which the scouts have mentioned and so after half an hour they headed toward the river.
After walking for 15 mins, they arrived near the streaming river and were shocked to see a bizzare red monkey whose tail was lit in fire hanging by tail on a branch of a small tree near the riverside. They were completely dumbfounded to see this unique creature.
"How could such a bizzare creature exist whose tail is on fire", Jack mumbled to himself.
And when they saw its information on the screen through the skill 'Apprise', they all sucked in a cold air as this monkey's name was 'Red fire-tailed Monkey'
And it was a 'rare' level 9 monster.
