Chapter 3 Farrell Sky Williams

"It's Farrell, he seems to have grown taller and more handsome right Mason?" Miles whispered excitedly.

"Mason?" He called again. He turned only to find him staring intently at Farrell.

"How can one be this handsome, it's too bad he is not into studying otherwise he would have been more perfect.

"Aren't you going to say anything?" Miles turned to him.

"What should I say?" Mason replied arrogantly as he gave him a cold glare.

"Aaah! Jeez, what did I even expect from you," Miles couldn't help but reply as he turned his eyes away from him.

Mason was someone who had a strong aura and was extremely unapproachable and very antisocial. This was one of the many reasons as to why he only had one friend and that was Miles. He deemed friends as troublesome creatures. Another reason was that most people befriended him because of his family background so he wanted to change that in high school. And by changing meant, being the nerdy student with no friends. No one would want to associate with him.

He also wanted to hide his feelings as much as possible.

"Why don't you try and make friends? You don't have to live in seclusion," Miles suggested.

"If you want to make friends I'm not stopping you," he replied as he opened his books to read.

Mason always felt that Sky was a warm-hearted person, his smile could light up the world. He was handsome, kind, and soft every person's quality for both boys and girls. He was the kind of person who was admired by everyone since childhood. It was also one of the reasons why Mason fell in love with him.

At his darkest moments, Sky had brightened up his life unknowingly.

As soon as the bell rang, everyone settled down as the teacher walked in.

"Have you decided on who will be the class president?" He asked after the greetings but everyone was silent as usual.

"Then Mason can you please take over?" He turned to Mason who was seated at the furthest corner near the window.

"You are the only person who fits that criteria," the teacher added.

"Okay," Mason reluctantly agreed.

"Mason, you are one step to conquering Sky," Miles whispered beside him.

"Shut up,"

"From today onwards, Mason will be the class president, do you have something to say?"

"No," Mason quickly replied before sitting down.

"After the lesson, I want two people to follow me any volunteer?" The teacher asked but seeing that no one was paying attention he decided to choose.

"How about the class president? Anyone else?"

"I guess I will have to volunteer," Miles sighed as he pushed his chair ready to stand up but he suddenly heard another voice.

"I will volunteer,"

Everyone turned to Sky in shock. It was something no one had expected even Mason himself.

"Good then Sky it is let's start our lesson," the teacher said.

"Mason, did I hear correctly? Sky volunteered? I wonder what the teacher is up to, this is the beginning of your love, ah! Why does it feel like I'm reading a novel?" Miles spoke.

"Weren't you told to improve your grades or you will be sent abroad why do you still have time to talk nonsense," Mason replied coldly.

"Tch! Yes Dad, why do you always talk like a grown-up are you perhaps a seventy-year-old man hidden in a sixteen-year-old body? Oooh sorry, it's fifteen years old you haven't turned sixteen yet," Miles teased him.

"Why is it chilly in here?" Miles shivered slightly he turned and was shocked to see Mason's face fuming with anger.

"Hehehe, where is my mathematics textbook, what lesson do we have after here? Do you need me to buy you coffee later?" He tried to change his statement before it was too late.

After class, Mason and Sky followed the teacher back to the office.

"Do we know each other? You seem so familiar did we go to the same middle school?" Sky said as they walked side by side.

"No," Mason replied coldly. His face was expressionless. Being born into a rich family, maintaining his composure was one thing he was good at. No one could read his expression.

"Oooh," Sky replied. He looked at Mason scanning his entire body and had one thing in mind. Wow. Being handsome himself, he could tell Mason was very good-looking. Even with his large glasses, Mason's handsome face could not be hidden.

"Is there something on my face?" Mason asked.

"Aaah! No," Sky replied embarrassingly having been caught in the act.

"Then stop staring, someone might think that you want me," Mason teased him. But even while teasing, he looked so serious that one could not decipher if it was a joke or not.

Sky couldn't help but cough awkwardly. This guy was good at making someone uncomfortable he thought.

"Come in you two," the teacher said as he walked into his office.

"We will be having school guests and our class being the top class have been requested to guide them, from what I've heard Mason you are good in foreign language?"

"Yes, Abit,"

"How many languages can you speak?" The teacher asked.

"Eight," Mason replied.

"Is French included among the eight languages?"

"Yes, it is,"

"Good just what I expected from a top student what about you Sky," he turned to Sky who had been left out of the conversation. Sky immediately regretted volunteering.

"None?" He said not sure if it was a question or just a statement.

"Oooh, then you two will work together,"

"Is that all?" Mason asked.

"Yes," the teacher replied.

"Then I will take my leave," Mason replied.

"Sure, Sky you can also leave,"

As Mason walked back to class, he felt slightly happy as this would be the first time he was going to work with Sky alone. Even though it wasn't something great, he felt quite satisfied by it.

As soon as he walked into class, he took out his books and then began reading.

"Your coffee Mr. Armani," Miles walked towards him.

"I wonder why someone like you would drink coffee who drinks coffee at the high school level? You amaze me really, what is so good about drinking something bitter as this," Miles lamented.

"Speaking of that, how did it go? What did the teacher say?" He said again as he stared at Mason curiously.
