LOWE KURT’S POV

Arriving at the gates of the East Kingdom border left a bad distaste in my mouth. The border guards stared at us in surprise as we left the cars and got into the chariots that the border guards had ready for us. 

Randale looked annoyed at Armand's grin plastered on his face.

“How do you survive riding on these ancient artifacts?” Prince Marrok asked. 

“I had no idea how comfortable cars were until I arrived in the West Kingdom. I must confess that you are more advanced than us,” I pointed out.

“The border guards must have already rushed to alert the royal court that we are on our way,” Armand announced. 

“I wonder how much drama we shall witness this time around,” I chuckled. 

“We need to watch out for the Crown Prince. I doubt he will be cordial this time around,” Randale stated. 

“Cordial? Oh boy,” I whispered to myself. 

“Are you ready to face your father?” Armand asked. 

“No,” I snapped.
