PRINCE KLOUD’S POV

The loud banging on the door awakened us. When I opened my eyes the sun rays were already beaming in the room. Checking the clock, I noticed it was almost noon.

“Who the f*ck is knocking on the door so loudly,” I cursed as I got out of bed.

“Something must be wrong,” Ulysses stated as he listened in. “It's Randale and Armand.” 

We dressed, walked to the living room, and found the place had already been cleaned by the maids. 

 Kloud yelled, “Come in.”

The guards pushed the door open, and Randale was the first to walk in hurriedly. “Crown Prince, Grand Prince.” He bowed and Armand followed suit. 

“What is the ruckus all about?” I asked, looking between them.

“We are sorry to interrupt but Council Elder Ulfang Mei is dead,” Randale announced. 

My eyes widened. “What? Dead? How?”

“His body was mutilated into pieces,” Armand stated as his eyes moved to Ulysses. I turned to Ulysses who took a step back.

“I never left our bed the whole night,” he said softly.
