Chapter 27: Chapter 27: A Step Closer

Randale and I strategized the whole day after sobering up. We made plans for the security at the wedding and how to deal with Oclan and Felicia once the wedding was done. Ulfang was still in jail, and I instructed Randale to ensure he did not get any visitors. 

The wedding attires arrived late in the afternoon and the maids rushed to the bedrooms to store them in the closet. Ma was thorough. We went for a run in a different part of the West Kingdom forest, all to avoid being followed or watched. It was already dark by the time we got back, and I when walked into the chambers, Prince Ulysses was having dinner. 

Closing the door, I watched as he ignored my presence and continued to eat. I was happy that he was at the chambers and bit my tongue before I said something stupid. I walked into the bedroom, took a shower, changed, and walked back to the dining table. 

I found Prince Ulysses seated in the same spot, poking the meat on his plate.
