Chapter 18: Chapter 18: Demands

Oclan Relic's face was laced with utter disbelief at how much power was radiating from Prince Ulysses.

“The dinner table has already been set,” Randale announced. 

I felt the nudge from Prince Ulysses' hand, and I pulled him over to the dinner table. Oclan Relic was caught off guard and he followed us like a puppy, sitting down as the maids rushed to serve dinner. 

Armand, Lowe, and Vuk arrived shortly, and I could tell by their widened eyes they all seemed shocked to see Oclan seated at the dinner table. 

“I invited council adviser Oclan for dinner,” Prince Ulysses announced, and they all nodded in acceptance. 

As the maids poured the wine, Prince Ulysses smiled warmly at Oclan. “As a parent, I understand you feel aggrieved by what happened this morning.”

“That is true,” Oclan stated, not backing down from the topic.
