Chapter 639: I Disturbed Your Fun

The streets were mildly busy in a district full of entertainment buildings in the capital. People moved about calmly that night, and a beastly man, in human form with a very ordinary appearance and aura, walked casually until he turned a corner.

"Ouch!" A muffled female voice sounded.

"Hey, you bumped into her on purpose, bastard!"

An angry male voice rose, and the man staggered slightly before steadying himself and turning forward. He saw a tall, burly figure with black, scaly skin; the hybrid aura of a human and some strange beast was obvious.

Next to him was a regular human woman, looking a bit dazed. When the man looked into her blue eyes, he felt a strange glint. It lasted less than a second, but it was unusual.

"What are you talking about?! She bumped into me!" the man defended himself. But, sensing the couple's aura, he swallowed his words.
