Author's Notes
Hello! I'm Equuleus, the author of this story. This little section, as inspired by one of my readers, Daniel_Silva_3411, is separate from the story itself, to serve as a timeline of sorts, as well as my intentions with DBA.
The update rate for the story, tentatively, will be around 3-4 times a week, or every other day. However, I would like to say that I'm equally invested in the quality of this story, so if I feel very dissatisfied with a chapter and think I need another day or so to polish it, I will take the time to do that.
DBA was inspired by the question: was it impossible for a human to become genuinely strong in the Dragon Ball Universe? My answer was no, it was not impossible. As you might've expected, the MC will remain as a human, but he will not be weak. Full disclosure, the MC will be quite weak at the very beginning, as he is not starting with any OP abilities or as a Saiyan. Everything he achieved will be obtained through his efforts and wit, not by a ROB or a system.
This is quite different than the "traditional" start on DB reincarnation stories, and may not be everyone's cup of tea. That's fine! Everyone has different preferences for the stories they prefer and I have nothing but respect for that! For readers who would like to give DBA a chance, I don't think you'll be disappointed!
With regards to the story, currently, I have ideas for story progression up to the conclusion of the Cell Saga and the beginnings of the Buu Saga. It may take a while to get there, but we will eventually.
I do not plan on dropping this story. That being said, this is a very long-term project, so there may be times when the upload speed may not be as consistent as you or I would like. It may be personal matters or hiatuses taken between major sagas to prepare for the next arc. During those times, I will post new updates here in the A/N. I ask for your understanding during those times.
