wake up Danny", a sweet voice called out to me. I groaned and turned my face in the pillow, burying it there.

"Come on", the voice sounded closer now and I recognized it as my mum's voice.

"It's your first day as a finalist. You don't want to be late" she said, snatching the pillow from me.

"C'mon, give me just five extra minutes",I called out groggily.

"It's almost 7:30" mum said.

That had me jumping up. My eyes widened.

"7 what??"

I jumped off the bed and rushed into the bathroom. I was going to be late if I don't hurry up.

Yeah, you can imagine that I'm that prim and perfect student who has never been late or cut a class before. Well I am. My mother brought me up to always be on time and to be at my best behavior always.

I picked up the brush and quickly brushed my teeth and took a bath.

I wasn't a girly girl so dressing up didn't take long.
