"You'd better not go back to abroad. It wouldn't be convenient if Jones returns there too." my mother's tone was a tad solemn. "Your father and I don't have any other expectations. We just hope you can live a good life with the kids. As for marriage…"

My mom didn't go on, but I knew what she was hinting at. They wanted me not to be entangled in any more troubles with neither Damon nor Jones.

"I'll head over after some time." I replied.

I couldn't just head over now. The secret of Catherine and Dylan was like a black hole, pulling me to unveil it. Moreover, I had this strong hunch that even if I avoided Catherine by moving to my parents' place, our paths would cross again in the future.
