Heidil ran toward the top of the table. All he could hear was the sound of his own footsteps, and he couldn't sense anyone around him.
This made him curious as to where his 'opponent' was.
He looked back but saw no one. He scanned the area, but still couldn't find her. His expression grew serious as he realized a possibility.
Mobilizing the Mana inside him, his speed increased further, and with a powerful leap, he landed on top of the table.
What greeted his eyes the moment his feet touched the 'ground' was Nea, standing in front of a red, glowing object.
"When did you get here?" Heidil asked, incredulity etched on his face. This woman is so fast?! He hadn't even felt her pass by, and he had clearly gotten a head start!
"I jumped," Nea replied, not turning around.
"Just like I did?" Heidil's curiosity about the glowing object was momentarily overshadowed by his fascination with how she'd done it.
