Chapter 80: Scorpion (Part-2)

Glancing to his left, Eka spotted a humanoid scorpion standing at least 3 meters tall. He had to look up to see the monster's face clearly. Judging by its appearance, this particular scorpion's exoskeleton seemed tougher than the ones surrounding the cheetah. A strange sound emanated from its mouth, resembling the noise of shells hitting each other but creepier.

After a moment.

"Humans," the monster spoke.

Eka's eyes widened. "Wow! It's my first time seeing a—" he was about to mention it was his first time seeing a talking monster, but he remembered the devil. "Nevermind."

With his hands raised, Eka activated his Concentration, and information about the surroundings, including the humanoid monsters, entered his mind. The scorpion beside him possessed bodily strength barely equaling that of a holder who had undergone their 3rd mana reconstruction; the humanoid scorpion could be considered 4-star or 5-star.
