Dreaming of Theresa?

Sakura glanced at Vill-V, who smiled reassuringly and spoke with confidence. She wondered what Vill-V was planning, but she trusted her enough to follow her lead. She slowly lowered herself to the ground, trying to calm her racing heart.

She had repeated to herself many times that she should not panic, but she could not shake off the fear that gripped her.

She let out a deep sigh and closed her eyes, hoping to relax. She did not make any more sound, as if she was asleep.

She still believed that Vill-V knew what she was doing. She was the smartest and the bravest of them all.

Besides, Sakura knew that she could not rescue her sister alone. She needed Vill-V's help and guidance.

So she decided to wait patiently, even though her hand was still clutching the sword that she carried.

In this way, the Heroes pretended to be at ease in the Golden Courtyard, while secretly preparing for their next move.

....

"Luo Mo, how can I properly teach you a lesson?" Theresa, who was now much shorter in stature, confidently walked into the room with a mischievous smile on her face. In her hand, she held a small leather whip, ready to unleash her plan.

Gone was the innocent and delicate Theresa from before. She had transformed into a seductive imp, dressed in a black outfit that accentuated her figure. The outfit consisted of a short, slightly see-through black dress, teasingly revealing glimpses of her flawless white skin. The dim lighting in the room enhanced the alluring colors of her attire.

Her slender legs were adorned with sheer black stockings, and even though she wore sandals, her perfectly manicured toes were visible, adding to the overall allure.

The room itself was adorned in various shades of pink, creating an atmosphere of sensuality. Even the large bed was draped in pink fabric, further intensifying the ambiguous vibe.

It was at this moment that Luo Mo realized he was bound to the bed, unable to move or speak due to the tape covering his mouth. The only sounds he could make were faint whimpers, a sign of his helplessness.

He desperately wanted to break free from his restraints, but his hands and feet were tightly bound, rendering him completely powerless. His futile attempts at moving backwards only led him to the corner of the room, trapped and helpless.

As Theresa continued to approach him, a sense of fear washed over him. He couldn't comprehend how the situation had escalated to this point.

"Oooooooooo (Let go of me!)" he pleaded, his voice muffled by the tape covering his mouth.

Theresa's lips curled into a wicked smile as she replied, "You don't want to escape from me, huh?" Her voice was soft, almost taunting, as she gently swung the leather whip in her hand, creating a menacing cracking sound.

She seemed satisfied with the fear she had instilled in Luo Mo, even nodding her head in approval.

Pressing her knees against the bed, she leaned forward, bringing herself even closer to Luo Mo.

"Oooooooooh (how did it turn out like this?)" Luo Mo's voice trembled with terror as he struggled frantically against his restraints.

"Why?" Theresa's face showed a mix of confusion and anger, her expression darkening. "Isn't it because you went out looking for that despicable pink woman?"

"Tell me! In what way am I inferior to her?" she demanded, her voice filled with resentment. With a defiant gesture, she angrily jutted out her small chest, causing Luo Mo to instinctively look over.

Soon, a sense of unease washed over him, and as he lifted his gaze, he found Theresa's cold, piercing eyes fixed upon him. The whip in her hand ominously poised to strike.

Fear engulfed him, causing him to instinctively shut his eyes tightly, bracing for the impact of the whip against his body.

But then, the sound of an alarm clock ringing suddenly filled the room.

"Hoo hoo--, what a strange dream!" Luo Mo exclaimed, his body drenched in a cold sweat as he sat up on the bed, gasping for breath.

Shaking his head, he gradually realized that he had to go to the office today. It seemed odd to him that he would resume work immediately upon returning from a trip. After all, he wasn't exactly the most social or work-driven person. Now, he even held the position of a boss.

With a sigh, Luo Mo got up and freshened up, preparing to head to the company to check on the progress of the work.

As he reached for the doorknob, he was startled by what he saw.

"What in the world!" Luo Mo exclaimed, his heart racing.

"Why are you acting so strange?" Theresa descended the stairs sleepily, rubbing her eyes in obvious annoyance.

"N-nothing," Luo Mo stammered nervously, trying to compose himself. "I am doubly honored to see the Headmaster of the Academy so early in the morning."

His hurried explanation betrayed his panic.

"Hmph, know how powerful this academy head is, seeing this academy head is indeed an honor for you!" Theresa proudly stuck her hands on her hips and said confidently.

Looking at the pouty Theresa in front of him, Luo Mo felt thankful from the bottom of his heart.

Sure enough, the dream was still strange!

As Luo Mo stepped outside, he was greeted by the crisp freshness of the early morning air. The mist hung low, creating an ethereal atmosphere that was both calming and invigorating.

In the distance, he noticed two familiar figures engaged in conversation. Fu Hua and Elysia were standing outside, their voices carrying faintly on the breeze. It was clear that Fu Hua had been waiting for him, while Elysia… well, she was always full of surprises.

Elysia, ever the cheerful one, spotted Luo Mo and approached him with a wide grin. "Yo, Luo Mo, you've joined us too!?" she exclaimed, her voice ringing out with genuine delight.

She then quickly added, "I've been thinking about visiting your company. Would that be alright?"

Luo Mo pondered over her request for a moment before shaking his head. "Ellie, I'm afraid today might not be the best day. We have a lot on our plate at the company. Plus, it seems like the distance might be beyond the device's limit!"

Elysia, undeterred by his refusal, responded with a determined nod. "Well… In that case! I'll go back and discuss it with Vill-V again!?"

Curiosity piqued, Luo Mo asked, "What were you guys talking about just now?" He had been observing them from afar.

Elysia's eyes sparkled with anticipation as she replied, "Of course, I was asking Fu Hua about her campus life!"

She then sighed wistfully, "Wow! I haven't gotten to experience campus life yet! I really want to mingle with those youthful and beautiful girls…"

Luo Mo eyed the pink-haired woman in front of him with a hint of suspicion. There was something off about her enthusiasm. Could it be that she was planning some sort of unusual party?

Elysia, her eyes wide with disbelief, exclaimed, "Ah! What are you thinking, how rude!" She was clearly taken aback by the odd look in Luo Mo's eyes.

She then asked, somewhat defensively, "What kind of image do I project in your mind? I was merely thinking of joining them in their learning journey. A youthful, sunny atmosphere with a hint of excitement would be ideal, don't you think?"

Luo Mo, caught off guard by her reaction, fell silent. He turned to Fu Hua and asked, "Did she mention which class she wanted to attend?"

Fu Hua replied, "She expressed a desire to join a class with me, to experience the camaraderie once again."

Luo Mo cast a hesitant glance at Elysia, who was absentmindedly twirling a strand of her long, pink hair around her finger. She flashed him a light smile and said, "Uh huh!?"

"Mei?" Luo Mo uttered softly, his voice barely more than a whisper.

Elysia's voice rose in indignation as she retorted, "Ah…! What are you talking about? Why do you always bring up Mei? I told you, this time, I wanted to reconnect with Fu Hua!"

Her eyes were filled with reproach as she pouted, clearly dissatisfied with Luo Mo's insinuation.

In an attempt to defuse the situation, Luo Mo offered, "… I'll help you if you say you have absolutely no interest in Mei."

Elysia huffed, her hands clasped to her chest in mock offense. "I'm interested in Mei… Hmph! It's really embarrassing for Pink Elf-sama!?" She squinted at Luo Mo, her words laced with playful sarcasm.

With a sigh of resignation, Luo Mo ran a hand through his hair and said, "Understood, I'll assist you." His voice was laced with a hint of helplessness, but his resolve was clear.

Elysia's eyes sparkled like stars in the night sky as she responded, "Hmm! Elysia appreciates your help, oh!?"

With that, she spun on her heel and sauntered away, her steps light and cheerful, like a dancer lost in the rhythm of a joyful melody.

Elysia was not one to lie, but could a misunderstanding really be considered a lie?

As they continued on their journey, Fu Hua turned to Luo Mo and remarked, "You're quite adept at handling Elysia." Her voice mixed with a hint of relief.

It was clear that Elysia's vibrant personality had been a challenge for Fu Hua, who found herself at a loss against Elysia's persuasive charm.

Luo Mo simply shrugged and said, "After all, it's not like Elysia can lie." His words were matter-of-fact, a simple statement of truth.

Fu Hua pondered over his words, her thoughts a whirlwind. "So that's how it is? Someone who won't… Lie?" She mused aloud, her voice barely above a whisper.

"But I can't lie either!" Fu Hua thought to herself, a sense of helplessness washing over her.

Shifting the focus of their conversation, Luo Mo turned towards Fu Hua, his gaze filled with concern. "By the way, Fu Hua," he began, his voice gentle yet firm, "I haven't had the chance to inquire about your recovery post-treatment. How are you holding up?"

Fu Hua, her eyes reflecting a sense of calm determination, responded, "Physically, I'm almost back to my full strength, and I've even managed to regain some of my memories. However, my recollections of my previous civilization remain hazy."

Luo Mo nodded, his understanding of her predicament evident in his expression. "So, you've essentially pieced together everything about your current civilization then?"

Fu Hua responded with a thoughtful hum, her gaze distant as she delved into the depths of her memories. "um! I have managed to recall almost everything, save most portion of my memories. To fill in these gaps, I believe I need to revisit certain places."

She paused for a moment, her gaze unfocused as she lost herself in thought. After a brief silence, she continued, "Specifically, towards Taixu Mountain and certain regions within China."
