Chapter 383: Strange Thoughts Arise
"OK."
Ren followed her instructions, lifting Gabriel and laying her on the bed.
"Do you need help pressing it?" He asked.
"No need." Gabriel refused without hesitation.
Unable to move due to numb legs from kneeling for so long, asking for a massage would only be torture.
"How long did I sleep?"
Thinking about what happened while he was asleep, Ren asked curiously.
"I don't know, a long time." Gabriel replied casually. "If you woke up earlier, I wouldn't be like this."
"Sorry."
Ren apologized again for the incident, then continued, "Actually, you could have woken me up; you didn't need to give me a knee pillow."
He didn't want to trouble Gabriel in this matter.
"No need, it's just a little effort." Gabriel tilted her head so he couldn't see her expression.
After Ren fell asleep in her lap, she never thought to wake him or move him to the side.
It was the first time she saw Ren so relaxed, without the expressionless face he had now, just an unprecedented peace.
"Thank you." Ren expressed gratitude.
Whatever happened, he had to thank Gabriel for letting him sleep in her lap for so long.
"Since you want to thank me, how about taking practical action?"
Gabriel lay on the bed, adjusting her position comfortably and speaking unhurriedly.
Ren stood up and asked quickly, "What do I need to do?"
"Go and cut the vegetables I placed on the kitchen cutting board, and rinse the rice." Gabriel ordered brusquely.
As Ren returned too early, and it took a long time to give him a knee pillow, until now, she hadn't even had dinner, let alone eat.
"Yes."
So Ren turned around and walked to the kitchen.
"Kamikawa, I'm thirsty; I want to drink water."
As Ren entered the kitchen, Gabriel raised her voice and shouted loudly.
"Sure."
After a while, Ren came back with a glass of water. "Do you need me to feed you?"
Hearing his question, Gabriel unintentionally stared at his lips.

Then she immediately realized that when Ren said "feed." he probably meant feeding her like the porridge earlier.
"No, just leave it."
Realizing there was a big problem with her idea, Gabriel declined the opportunity to enjoy Ren's service.
"Is there anything else I can help with?"
Placing the glass of water on the bedside table, Ren continued to ask.
"No more, quickly cut the vegetables."
Pulling the blanket to cover her face, Gabriel urged him to leave.
"Call me if you need anything."
After leaving these words, Ren went back to the kitchen.

After recalling her thoughts earlier, Gabriel gently tapped her face to wake herself up.

After dinner, Gabriel lay on the bed and rested, while Ren sat at the table, concentrating on his homework.
Their daily life wasn't just about fooling around; things that students should do, like doing homework, were also part of their lives.
"Kamikawa, please help me finish my homework." Turning around, Gabriel closed her eyes. "I'm too tired and don't want to move."
She had just finished eating, and she didn't want to do anything, not even play games.
She was still interested in the game, but Ren was doing homework there, and playing games next to her would distract him.
"Fine. So, I'll take your homework out of your school bag."
Putting down pen, Ren took her school bag.
For personal belongings like this, it's better to explain before moving them.
"Go ahead." Gabriel waved her hand casually.
Ren opened her school bag and started searching inside.
"Your homework is not in your school bag."
After searching carefully, Ren confirmed the fact that her homework was not in her school bag.
"Impossible?"
Gabriel suddenly sat up, not believing it.
"I didn't find it. Why don't you look for it yourself?"
Ren brought her school bag to the bed so Gabriel could easily find it.
"Never mind; maybe I forgot it at school and didn't bring it back." Gabriel had no intention of doing anything and lay down again.
Since she couldn't find it, She surely couldn't find it.
In this case, she trusted Ren.
"Looks like we'll have to wait until Monday before going to school..."
Before she could finish her words, Ren's voice interrupted her, cutting off her words.
"I'll go to school to get it for you tomorrow."

She thought she would wait until she returned to school on Monday to do her homework, but she had no idea how to get her homework back.
