'It's not like it was our fault that they lazed around. 

They should have worked properly in the first place. 

They only have themselves to blame,' Loreen wanted to glare back at them but simply focused her eyes on the Section Manager instead.

It would be bad to ruin her reputation in her first workplace here in their hometown. Moreover, she wasn't into getting into fights in her workplace anyway.

The Section Manager made several more announcements for future activities and meetings this month. When she was done, Loreen flinched when the Section Manager suddenly said, "Ms. Loreen, please come to my office."

'Did I do something wrong?!' Loreen tensed up. 

But she just returned so there was no way she already made a mistake.

'Then, was it last year?'

She knew she did all the work she needed to do before the holidays came though.
