With how scared Loreen was acting, it must have been something really bad and Edric hoped and prayed it wasn't what crossed his mind.

Loreen stopped walking a few steps away from Edmund's room.

Her grip around his arm tightened even more.

"What's wrong?" Edric inquired in a low voice.

He felt like the slightest sound might surprise her.

"E-Edric… I think it's here. Something happened here," Loreen said with a pained expression.

She looked around the hallway leading to Edmund's room as if trying to remember something but couldn't.

Then her eyes darted to the door of Edmund's room and were fixed there.

"Whose room is this?" Loreen inquired in a low shaky voice.
