"No, Edric. Please don't do this," Loreen quickly shook her head so he won't think that doing so could make her stay. "I know your family is precious to you so don't cut ties with them."

"Then what is it I should do? Tell me, Loreen. What do I have to do so you'd come back to me," Edric eyed her imploringly.

Loreen gulped. She didn't think Edric would go this far.

He chose her. Right here, right now. 

She wouldn't say she wasn't touched. 

But she didn't want him to make that choice. He didn't have to. 

And he didn't have to do something so she would go back, because she wouldn't.

"I'm not getting back together with you no matter what you say or do, Edric.
