"So you aren't disappointed in me?" Ava asked.

"Not at all my love. I could never be disappointed in you."

"I wish Ryder would be this understanding." Ava said.

"Why do you feel, he wouldn't be understanding?" her father asked.

"He is the Alpha of a pack and I am supposed to be his perfect Luna. How is he supposed to tell people that his Luna is actually a vampire?"

"Half vampire." Her father corrected.

"It's still the same thing." Ava said.

Her father reached out and held her hand, "Look sweetie, you have to trust in Ryder and the love that you two share, do you really see Ryder as the kind of person that would abandon you or despise you for something beyond your control?" her father asked.

"I don't know. I am scared."

"Just trust him sweetie." her father said.

"I am also scared of giving birth." Ava confided in her father.
