Dreya couldn't believe his ears, "Really? You will grant him another audience?" he asked the queen again. 

"Yes, I will grant him another audience" the queen confirmed. 

"Thank you your highness" Dreya said gratefully as he bowed before the queen. 

"You are welcome but don't try to guilt trip me again" the queen warned. 

"Yes, your highness".

"It's been over a week since Evena left and there has been no response from him." Jayden said as he addressed Lavender. 

"I know and I am very worried, it's very unlike him to not send word back" Lavender replied. 

"What do you think we should do?" Jayden asked. 

"I don't know, Ryder's health is deteriorating every day and there is absolutely nothing we can do to help him" 

"Or do you think we should approach the vampires ourselves?" Jayden asked.
