"I APOLOGIZE, President. The Madam leaked the news herself, so Soul Daily bypassed us and released the news about your engagement with Miss Hwang without our approval."

"Then I'll work harder to help you and Mona-ssi get back together, President," Glenn said, his fingers working on the tablet faster. "First, let me contact some entertainment journalists I know and ask if Gavin Kim is really in a relationship with someone."

Nikolai turned to Glenn with furrowed brows. "Why didn't you do that earlier when I was worrying about how to ask my wife if she was dating someone new or not?"

"President, it's not in my job description to fix my boss' marriage."

"President, we've arrived," Kyle Seo, his driver-slash-bodyguard, informed him politely. "How should I deal with the car tailing us?"

Yes, a car had been tailing them ever since Nikolai left Mona's café.

"Tell them to let my mother know I won't let this slide," Nikolai said sternly. "And make sure those paparazzi never get to work in the industry again."

"DID MY mother ask you to meet me here so the paparazzi could take photos of us going on a "date?"" Nikolai asked as soon as he sat on the chair across from Juliet Hwang. "Just what are you planning with my mother, Miss Hwang?"

Juliet Hwang's face remained cold as she sipped her red wine, then she placed the glass on the table before speaking. "Why would I work with your mother, Nikolai-ssi? Do I look like I'm desperate to marry you? Oh, god. I hope not."

Nikolai was humbled quickly.
