The Wizard Advancement Association chose to set up camp in a place known as the Plague Cavern.

That place was located in the southwest corner of the Pollution Zone, and further west was the Dark Abyss of Baldur's Gate.

Their choice of this location was mainly targeting the fleeing Shadow Death Laborers.
