Chapter 20: Let's dance
**********In the police station**********
A muscular man on low cut, with neatly carved beards sits in his office. He is dressed in an officer's uniform, with his a engrossed in reading a newspaper, as he would pause to momentarily trace a location in the map of the city.
~Ring~ ~ring~ His office phone rings and he picks up.
"Sergeant we've located him, what should be our action sir?" The caller asks
"Good, send me the location, I'll meet you there soon, don't do anything before I get there, do you copy?" The Sergeant says
"Yes sir!" The caller says.
Immediately the Sergeant stumps out of his office, gathers some of his men and head towards the location that has already been sent to him.
Sergeant: "Listen up, team. We've got eyes on the target. Maintain radio silence and approach the location cautiously. We need to catch him off guard."
Soldier 3: "Copy that, Sergeant. Moving in quietly, ready for any unexpected turns."
Sergeant: "Stay vigilant, team. This target is not to be taken lightly. Our objective is a swift and secure apprehension. Let's make it happen."
"Yes sir!"
Sergeant: "Alright, gear up, we've got a target to apprehend. Remember, follow procedure and stay sharp. Move out!"
Soldier 1: "Yes, Sergeant! We're ready to roll."
Soldier 2: "Let's lock and load, everyone. Time to take down this perp."
*The team quickly assembles, checks their equipment, and heads to the designated location.*
**********Back in the training hall********
"Wow, it's beautiful. "
Emma muttered to herself as the place changed into a flower garden.
"A setting benefiting a princess, don't you think? "
"What are you planning on doing with this kind of a pathetic setting"
"Nothing much, I was just looking for a perfect background that will suit our beautiful display of talent" Henry said
"Oh really? Then that just means the stage is mine, I'm at the spotlight, and you my dear, is just a side character, a stepping stone for me to ascend my throne " Emma said haughty
~Hmhmhm~ Henry chuckled to himself
[You may now begin! ]
The teacher announced.
Stretching his hand forward as if demanding for Emmas hand and bowing slightly.
"May I have this dance princess? It's going to be fun."
"Don't get cocky because of the results of a petty test, had I have given it my all, you wouldn't even be recognized." Emma says
Henry: "You might underestimate me, but I'm not just a backdrop. Prepare for a surprise, Emma."
Emma: "Surprises won't save you. Let's dance and see who steals the spotlight."Henry extends his hand, ready for the performance to begin.
The tension rises as the duel of talent unfolds.
