Chapter 11: The Party

I'm sure very soon dad and Junior would be preparing to start supplying the products to Ryan's hotel. Wish I could see the look on their faces when they discovered that I'm the only one who gets to deal with them (Ryan's hotel). I smiled at myself in the mirror, while checking out my floor length dress, smoothing my perfectly brushed and packed bun atop my head, roamed my eyes through my body, liking what I saw staring back me, I made my way out.

The Carltons are known for throwing parties, it's like they look for an excuse to throw as much parties as they like and being their anniversary, they went all out to make it as splendid as possible. Sipping my drink slowly while making brief conversation with familiar faces, greeting as many business partners and clients as I could, roaming my eyes over the expensive work of arts that was displayed around and wishing to be out of the party as soon as possible.
