With Neal gone, I took my time to take another shower and changed into a robe.

Since I had no idea what news Neal would bring, I decided to wait for him first. If there was anything fun, I would dress properly, but if there wasn’t, then I would just dress casually and stay at the hotel.

While I waited for him, I began to chat with Douglas. And since the semester wasn’t over yet, the young man had to go to school.

At the same time, he was also planning to open that café we talked about the other time.

Neal returned two hours later, and he came with a smile on his face.

He brought good news enough to keep me entertained for three straight days. There was a banquet in the city and he managed to get a last-minute invitation.

The following day, someone in the hotel was hosting a banquet and VIPs like her were all invited. Lastly, on the third day, there was a car race in the evening and Neal managed to get another invitation as well.
