Alisha Chuma (POV)

“Tell her that I will meet with her at the usual place around seven tonight, and ……” I instructed my dutiful PA one hour later after arriving at the institution.

“I will pass the message to her, ma’am. What about the minister? She is still waiting for your response?” Daisy asked worriedly.

Upon hearing that, I frowned a little as the image of that sly woman appeared in my head.

“Ask her when she will be available. I will meet her then,” I helplessly said as I looked at Daisy.

Daisy sheepishly grinned at me after hearing me say that.

“I will get back to her later in the evening. This way, you can still have time to be prepared if she sets an early date.”

“Thanks for that.”

I talked briefly with Daisy before she left my office, leaving me with a pile of files that needed my attention.

I picked one file and before I could open it and see what was inside, my phone started ringing.
