With the death of Black Lantern Savage, the entire battle fell silent as every undead followed after him dead, the young members started celebrating the win, Raiden looked around, making sure everyone was safe and didn't suffer more than surface-level injuries, as he looked around, the voice in his mind spoke "Thou hast done an admirable job as the bringer of death. However, this is thy first time, and thy body was not prepared for such an experience. The repercussions of wielding such power shall weigh heavily upon thee."
As if to affirm Hassan's words, Raiden's body started to shake, as his sword fell from his hand, and he fell on one knee
"Raiden!" called out Raven, Kori arrived as well to hold him, and his body started to return to normal as he spoke a few last words before passing out "Scáthach, do whatever you can to protect the world from what the Reach has done, Merlin, you too, protect everyone"
"Raiden! Raiden!" called out Kori to the passed-out Raiden.

"Should I tell you?" spoke a voice, turning to it, Raiden opened his eyes saying "Merlin? But how!"
"I'm inside your dreams, while you're asleep, I had to do this since your loved ones have been worried about you for a while now" spoke Merlin, this shocked Raiden a bit and he asked "Why? What happened?"
"You've been asleep for about five days now, and things have been hectic outside, The Reach placed twenty bombs all around the world, they were aimed to alter the weather of earth, forcing it to be inhabitable, that's what Black meant when he said Earth will destroy its people" explained Merlin
"But you've dealt with it, right? Nothing bad happened right?" asked Raiden, a bit panicked, about the situation, this prompted Merlin to raise his hands a bit saying "You can relax, yes, Earth is safe, the Team, and a bunch of other heroes, teamed up with the man known as Lex Luthor and stopped the bombs"
"Lex Luthor you say, yeah, that fucker, I still haven't forgotten him, he's the reason for Ivo's experiments, I had hoped he'd be in the Summit with the Light, but he didn't show up, but he's time will come, anyways, that's great then, no threats as of now right? Situation good?"
"Well, yes, no problems as of yet, there was something, but I won't tell you about it here, it's better if your friends are the ones that will speak to you about it," said Merlin
"Then why are you here?" asked Raiden, to which Merlin had a sinister smile as he said "Well you see, ever since you got me and Scáthach as your servants, you've been ordering us a bit too much don't you think? So she and I came up with a great idea"
"Oh, why do I feel like this a bad idea?"
"We've estimated that you'll be asleep for one more week, using my magic, I can extend your dreams into about a month, and as such we decided that we will train you here!" said Merlin, this made Raiden raise his eyebrows a bit as he said "Hmm, that's not such a bad idea, I do need some training, I don't mind"

One Week Late (One Month inside Raiden's mind)

"NOOOO JUST STOP" Screamed Raiden as he kept on running, he was strapped by a robe around his body, dragging a rock the size of a small hill, but that wasn't the worst part, as on the skies, Scáthach was there throwing a spear every three seconds at Raiden, that wasn't the worst part, the worst part was that Merlin was using the fact that this is a dream, to summon Lava behind the running Raiden, who if he stopped just for a bit, it will engulf him
"WHAT'S THIS EVEN SUPPOSED TO TRAIN ME!!!!!!" screamed again, to which Scáthach said "Stamina, Increase in speed, increase in strength, situational awareness, and ability to dodge even when you are being tied down"
Hearing that, Merlin opened his eyes wide saying "Seriously? I thought we were just doing this for fun!"
"MEERRRRRRLIIIIN I HATE YOU! I AM YOUR BIGGEST HATER!
I HATE THE WAY THAT YOU WALK, I THE WAY THAT YOU TALK
I HATE THE WAY THAT YOU DRESS!"

The training continued for the rest of the day in the dream, the training wasn't going to actually increase Raiden's physical strength, but his mental skills and his martial arts increased significantly, Scáthach was the mast of many weapons, and Merlin was a Master swordsman, his skills expanded in the terms of magic as well, learning Rune magic from Scáthach, and Merlin taught him a lot of illusion magic, however, Raiden was still shocked that Merlin lost to Klarion and allowed him to escape, to Raiden, it felt like it was one of Merlin's antics, and he just left Klarion to go
Opening his eyes, Raiden looked around to find Raven messing with the flowers beside his bed "Good morning"
"RAIDEN! You're awake!" Said Raven as he went in for a hug "Welcome back"
"I'm back love," said Raiden as he returned the hug from his bed, looking around his said "Kori's not here?" hearing that, Raven released him and said "Scáthach explained to us what's going on, with your training and stuff, so we've been taking turns staying with you, Looks like I won!" spoke Raven
"Is everything all right then? The Reach? Carry the team, everyone's good right?" asked Raiden, this made Raven look at the ground for a bit, nervous, just as she was about to speak, the door opened, and Kori walked in, behind her was Carry and Nightwing
Kori hugged Raiden and welcomed him back, and so did Carry, Nightwing thanked him for what happened, and his help before saying "Raiden, I've got some bad news for you"
"Lay it on me, what happened?" asked Raiden, to which Nightwing, removed his mask and said "It's Wally, he and Flash with Bart went to defuse one of the bombs, but in the Arctic, they were too late, so they had to run around it enough to stop it's effect, while doing that, Wally ran too fast, faster than he should've been….and he died"
"No...Why…." Gripping his hand hard, Raiden looked down as tears started to fall from his eyes

Looking at Wally's grave, Raiden still couldn't help but blame himself, if he had been there or if he had taken care of the Reach earlier, many options and solutions started to invade his mind, and all he could was accept that he couldn't change that
"An empty coffin as well, you didn't deserve this Wally, not you, you left this behind, why did it have to be you"
"Wally was always a hero, even when he left, he couldn't help himself but do the right thing," said a voice behind Raiden, he turned around, and looked at her for a few seconds before saying "Artemis…I'm sorry"
Artemis looked at Raiden, she hugged him saying "You can't blame yourself, nor can I, nor can anyone, it was his decision, and it saved billions of people around the world, He died a hero"

"You okay Raiden? You don't have to come you know, we at least got a few weeks to deal with Wally's death, you've only had a day, and already coming with us?" said Connor as he started to get ready for the journey
"Unfortunately I have to, Superman's action will be unpredictable as long as that mental note is on his mind, and I'm pretty sure, only I can deal with him, so let's go, Let's get the Justice League back"
