Chapter 30: How the mighty have....
Even during my time in the warp I had seen many of the creatures of the Dark Gods, but these... things have their own place among the horrors of the universe, made of flesh fused togeather by screams of those that used to live, they spoke as one and yet you can hear different voices among them, the abominations was fond of saying " Save us." like that would give me pause, " trooper purge the filth." two Storm Troopers equiped with flamers came forward walking only but a metre in front setting up their flamers as you can the klick of a spark.
They abominations court on to us not trying to save them, so like creatures gone mad, they charged at us screaming, " You were supposed to save us!!!!" ... yes we were supposed to save you but ... instead we will put you to rest. The abominations moved fast closing in our postion only few sconds away, yet to late, the two troopers unleashed hellish flames burning away the history that adorned the walls of these halls, Abominations continued to ran right into the flamers even as the flamers burnt away the maddness of their existance, skin burned away showing bone and muscle but even that didn't last as some fell dead to the flames others continued to crawl to us even when their legs were nothing but dead wegiht.

As I steared into the flames watching what life was in these horrifying creatures burned away with their bodies, gun fire echoed and shouting erupt over comms " Enemy contacts trying to exit the Palace! We need support." quickly turning I told the Lieutenant, " Go back reinforce them! if they get out what don't know how much havoc they could create." The Lieutenant looked into my eyes griting his teeth, " But my Lord what about..." cutting him off I shared a pearl of wisdom, " Glory comes to those who survive, now go!" as my words past my lips the building began to shake, what now! I felt the floor giving way as I can see the metal tearing under me, " Run!!!!" grabing a few troopers near me I through them towards where I thought they would be safe, finally feeling the floor disappear under me fell for about 6 metres and debre blocked the hole, that just fucking great.
Standing up clearing the metal and now ceiling from off my shoulders I turned off my lights switching my helmet to thermals, I slowly scanned around me for anything that was producing heat only nothing stood out beside the ceiling showing me the heat from the flames above me seeping through metal, I switched to night vivison allowing me to see what I had taken with me through the now blocked ceiling and thankfully I still have my sword ( The Last Fang), my bolter and my bolt pistol.
I paused as the sound of scrapping on a metal floor could be heard from head of me, putting my bolter away, I took out my sword out and bolt pistol, pointing my bolt pistol at the first abomination I saw I then noticed they couldn't see very well but were attracted to bright light and sound, I brought my arm slowly to my wasit grabbing a flashbang from off my belt and pulled the pin through it into the crowd of abominations that shambled forward towards me, as soon as the flashbang hit the floor they quickly looked towards the klinking sound then another sound was made and they began to get ready to hunt down the cause of the sound only to have all their sensors overloaded by the flashbang.
I used my arm to block the blinding light and my helmet to block out the sound, then rushed in aimming for hearts and heads or where I could put the most damage, firing several rounds off killing at least four before getting close I swung my power sword letting the black blade cut through my foes not allowing a single second to go unwanted. The abominations began to recover quickly as one swipped it's arm at me as I leanback and I returned a punch right into it's body to knock it off balance then I shot my bolt pistol in the legs of another standing in front of me, landing on top of the other then I stabbed my sword through them both, the next one charged at me holding a sword like weapon about to swing over its head, I thrust my sword stright into it's chest, lifting the body with my sword over my head and behind me, I through my sword into the next one almost going through it grabbing my sword I continued to fire my bolt pistol to anything that came to close...
30 seonds past by and at least 70 abominations lay dead and silent, Titerus stood silent covered in bits of blood, he flicked the blood from the blade, then walked in the derection where the abominations came from feeling the air around him was untarual and dark. Prehaps he will find the truth but the truth is rarely what anyting good.

I would like apologize for not being able to release on time every Friday and that I will promise to do better because, I really enjoy creating this story for every one to see. The main reason why this happening is becasue I am trying to change jobs and I am hoping everyone can understand how stressful that can be.
But this will not stop me from telling you the story of Redemption
